Detergent industry launches DetNet, a unique network to implement CLP* Regulation

AISE (International Association for Soaps, Detergents and Maintenance Products) has launched DetNet, the “Detergent Industry Network for CLP classification” at its Brussels headquarters on 3rd December 2013. Developed with industry and external expertise, DetNet aims to help companies establish the appropriate skin and eye irritancy classification for their products in compliance with the CLP Regulation. Technology should not replace proper cleaning in the battle against a hospital super bug, reports the Redditch Standard. A focus on good hand washing, cleaning of patient equipment and buildings overall is essential, according to Jennie Wilson, an infection prevention and control specialist.
